I like dean guitars very much, although I hate those damn overpriced "DIME" models. It's not because of the bodyshape, but more because of the poor quality for the price on those guitars.
I have a Dean ML 79 series. It's a big guitar, and it sounds massive. And the neck is thick and nice, kind of like a gibson neck, but a little different. I have played very few guitars that has a better feeling. I love it, and I don't think i will ever sell it.

I wouldn't want a guitar with "DIME" written all over it.

yeah i think we all think that the best guitars are the ones we are used to and the ones that bands mostly use. i played one of them crazy chuck berry style guitars that was literally like $8,000 and i never heard tones like that in my life, it was NOT even plugged in. i could not believe it, i just wonder what it would sound like to use one of them on a metal recording.....lmao. the sound was PRICELESS. i guess a beautiful tone will cost thousands of dollars

Here's a 335, is it that one? Sorry about the bad image... Looking at the size of the body, I can imagine clean tones are very good. And with a tuneomatic, it will probably sustain pretty good.
