I have a few times, I know it is not like the head of gibson or nothing but still irritated me. But yeah of course the les paul, explorer and flying v are classics. I mean Jackson have bettered the latter two at least in my opinion.

I like Flying V's more than the RRV's personally. I don't know, the RR V just hasn't got the same balance and comfort that the Flying V has. But the RRV sure looks and sounds killer, i'll give them that much.

I prefer the king v, don't really like the uneven sides of the rr, plus I need 24 frets.

I like the Explorer, although it's pretty heavy when you stand up with it.

It's a big guitar, and the Gibby models are usually made of Mahogany (with say a maple or mahogany top or one-piece mahogany body) so they are heavy, indeed. So are the Les Paul's, but the tone!

I can't stand the look of a Les Paul, though, they are so damn ugly IMO.

I like them, but it's not my first choice when buying something. But I have thought about getting one for the tone alone.

Gibson makes some of the best instruments all around. They are just excellent

My friend has a B.C. Rich Mockingbird and it is incredible. The action is probably the best I've ever played on, and it's tone quality is just awesome. I'm also really partial to Jackson and Kramer instruments, they are also fantastic.
