jackson has a broad neck, ltd thin, depends what you want and need.

never understood that ibanez hype...

Yeah,I too chose a Yamaha Pacifica over a Ibanez guitar,although Ibanez sounds great when it comes to Rock and Metal.

I always read that as sphincter. Good guitar, though.

My bass is a Yamaha RBX170. It's their standard affordable model, but I don't need more than that at the moment and it's reliable. I wish stores near me would carry more of their basses. I've been dying to try out some of their higher end five strings for whenever I feel ready to upgrade.

Ibanez for me.
The Roadstar Guitar Series because of the style. No money for a j custom or universe but I think these are top notch . Obviously depends on what wave you like your bridge and neck.
Crunch Lab and Liquifier from DiMa and any guitar sounds good. Not a firm believer of that the wood makes all the difference
