I still remember how I first heard of this band; someone had found this song: Naked Trees, it had to be the worst song she said. I got hooked ever since (the music)

Prowler In The Yard is my all time fav of them. and I think that Pig Destroyer was better off without that new dude doing all those weird computer sound effects

Prowler In The Yard. maybe just because thats the first extreme band i listened to, and I listened to it a million times. back then I listened to slipknot, dark tranquillity, mastodon, at the gates and all those crappy bands

After seeing people post about them (Wout mostly), I decided to give their album Prowler in the Yard a try. Even though I'm not as into the pure grind bands so much. I was surprised that I liked most of this album. Some of the songs are kind of weird and out there but still cool. I especially like the song "Junkyard God". It has a really cool drum intro. I'm going to see if I can nail that down today. I never dreamed I'd find something like that in a grindcore album.

I guess I just have to be a little more selective in which bands I listen to. I kind of gave grind a try before, but after a few songs, I kind of wrote it off as shit. I was wrong. I suppose it's just like all other metal genres, some good ones and a lot more shitty ones. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of a good one.

Eh, it isn't really bad, per se, but it isn't something I intentionally put on.

They have some great riffs, but the vocals kinda make it seem bland...

It has been a while since I've actually listened to them, though, just going based on what I recall.

38 counts of battery/ prowler in the yard rules but you all know that. INSANE band to hear live as well saw them a couple months ago with Repulsion no need to reiterate how amazing it was.

Pig Destroyer was one of the first Grindcore bands I ever heard and (along with Napalm Death) they pretty much single handedly got me into Grindcore.
