Played drums on and off for 5 years, but not for a few years now; I don't own any drums because I have nowhere to put them, but as soon as I have cash/space I will be getting back into it :)
Used to have an Aria Pro 2, but gave that up because there's not much you can do on a bass without other musicians. Have gone through 2 really cheap, shite acoustic guitars, not that I can actually play properly right now, for some reason I always get a muted string when trying to hold down a chord and I'm pressing down as hard as I can, just have to hope practice makes perfect  If it does, I will get an electric, not too bothered what make at this stage, will decide that later.
Would also love to learn to play piano, that would be amazing. Oh, and I can sing pretty well; I'm Welsh, of course I can sing pretty well! :D

I've played the drums on and off for about 15 years. I originally had a synthesized drum kit, Alesis D4. It was only brought as an alternative to a real kit cos i was at home at the time and the folks were worried about the noise a real kit would make with the neighbours. Finally they relented and i bought a Yamaha 5 piece, which i have today. I have been thinking about getting back to it, but haven't bothered setting it up again, yet. I've always wanted to learn guitar, or indeed electric guitar. My dad has just started to learn and he is 63, so i guess i may do it sometime.

I've been playing guitar for about 2 and a half years. I play an LTD F-50, and it's not the best out there, but it definitely gets the job done. I always play through a Digitech RP250 and often with a Digitech Metal Master to give that extra boost of distortion.

Piano, mainly...got a couple years of playing under my belt.
Acoustic guitar for a little over a year.
Bass guitar...every now and again.
But I can play fairly well.
Classical instruments every now and again, as well.
I'd love to play drums, though.

Guitar (6 or 7 string), mainly. I'm also a vocalist. I can "play the drums if I want to", and used to play piano, which gives me the qualifications necessary to do awful keyboard melodies. I think I can play bass, though not too well. I'm getting better at programming drum machines, both physical and computer-based.

I've always been wary of irregular shaped guitars, its the old style over substance worry. How does it sound really? Is there a sacrifice of sound quality for the cool image, or is that a misplaced concern? I know it varies from bass to bass, I mean yours in particular.
the_killer!
05-05-2009, 03:49 PM
i would say the bass for b.c.rich is nothing to worry about, the guitars on the other hand is a sound sacrafice, i have a Warbeast bcrich guitar it looks cool but the sound a little not so cool

Shape really shouldn't matter all that much in an electric guitar's sound.
Agreed. An electric instrument's sound comes from the movement of the metal string (i.e. vibration) over the magnetic fields on your pick-ups.
The wood will have a slight influence on acoustics, but not amplitude.
